KU LO SA crooner Oxlade clears the air about the wait for the release of his debut album.

The artist did this in a Snapchat story posted on May 5, 2024. He speaks about how he would love to stop having to explain the reason for not releasing a debut album. The artist who came to limelight in 2018 said “This Might Be The Last Time I speak about it or shalaye in any form”.

He speaks about how he had always wanted to do music and finally starts to explain his reason. Oxlade says that his debut album isn’t out yet because he wants his evolution to be showcased. He says that “change and growth births more processing and perfection”. This means that he is taking his time to perfect what will be his first album.

He continues with advice for a newer generation, “More or less the reason i tell the new sets of stars to drop while they have control over this p, drop it while you can cause a time will come.”

Finally, Oxlade says he did not release the debut album not because of laziness. He says “This is not an excuse for my efficiency, but like I said right after this project, my first ever album ... my first offering to afrobeats as a man and not a boy There won't be breaks.”

To close, he said that his debut album will contain “songs (that) will heal the world”.
