Nigerian prolific singer, songwriter and performer, Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele, popularly known as Oritsefemi, who was involved in a ghastly motor accident but survived, has spoken up since the incident.
The 'double wahala' crooner was involved in an accident today, September 26th 2021, after his car somersaulted at Saapade, Ogun state. Thankfully, no life was lost, but injuries were sustained.
Taking to his Instagram page to speak after the incident, Oritsefemi thanked his fans and also urged the Nigerian government to repair the bad roads and build better hospitals. He wrote:
Thank you so much for all the well wishes.
There is a thin line between life and death.
I’m thankful to still be alive. Accident is not something you wish on your enemy.
It was really scary but God came through.
We are only looking for what to eat, may we not meet with what will eat us.
Once again, a big thank you to everyone.
Recovering from the trauma and grateful to be alive.
Please let’s stay safe out there!
Government abeg make una repair roads and build better hospitals!
