Ijoba Danku, the former manager of Nigerian musician, Oritse Femi, has publicly refuted claims made by the singer regarding his colleagues, Burna Boy and D'Banj.

In an interview with Doyin's Corner that surfaced online on Sunday, May 26, 2024, Danku stated that Oritse Femi's assertions were completely false and expressed his disapproval of dishonesty.

Oritse Femi had previously stated in an interview that Burna Boy once sought refuge at his apartment because he felt stifled by his mother. He also claimed to have consoled Burna Boy during a moment of distress, assuring him of his destined greatness. Additionally, Oritse Femi alleged that he sold a Prado Jeep to D'Banj.

However, Danku dismissed these claims, emphasizing that they were not true. He emphasized his stance against dishonesty and clarified that he does not support such narratives.

In the interview, Danku also discussed his relationship with singer Portable, whom he claimed to have sold. He expressed regret over working with Portable, citing lies allegedly told by the singer.

Danku's public rebuttal has sparked discussions within Nigeria's music industry, highlighting the importance of honesty and transparency in professional relationships.
