Olamide joins Fela as the only Nigerian artists with this Billboard Charts record
YBNL frontman Olamide has joined the legendary Fela Kuti as the only Nigerian artists with this Billboard Charts record with the release of 'Ikigai.'
Following the release and worldwide acceptance of Ikigai by the music mogul and multiple award-winning rapper Olamide also known as Badoo, records have continued to be broken and reset in the Nigerian music industry. One of such record was recently attained by Olamide with Ikigai on the Billboard World Albums chart.

Olamide recorded a huge debut at number 13 on the Billboard World Albums chart with Ikigai which also became his 7th project to make an appearance on the chart, this saw Badoo join the legendary Afrobeat icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti as the only Nigerian artists with the highest number of entries on the chart with Fela at 9 entries.
Fans had eagerly anticipated the return of the sensational and multiple award-winning rapper who was recently named in the 2023 International Power Players List by Billboard, and from all indications he has not disappointed in any way with Ikigai.
