Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has disclosed that he was offered an enormous sum of money to campaign against politician Peter Obi but ultimately turned it down.

The revelation comes after the rapper faced backlash for publicly urging Peter Obi to support his newly released album, The Machine Is Coming. He argued that since he had supported Obi during the politician’s campaign, it was only fair for the support to be reciprocated. However, many critics found his approach disrespectful.

Taking to social media, Odumodublvck addressed the controversy, stating that he had once been offered a sum of money "he had never seen before" to speak against Peter Obi, but he refused the deal.

"ASK ABBAS, I WAS OFFERED MONEY I HAD NEVER SEEN TO CAMPAIGN AGAINST MR. PETER, BUT I TURNED IT DOWN. TELLING HIM TO PROMOTE MY NEW ALBUM IS NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK AS I AM NOT THE ONE TO SEEK FAVOURS. I SACRIFICED MY LIFE FOR THIS MAN. NO WAM. THE MACHINE IS COMING."

His statement has sparked discussions online, with fans and critics debating his stance and the extent of his loyalty to Peter Obi.
