Nigerians react as Afro Nation announces N228,000 tickets for Lagos show

The Afro Nation festival organisers have announced ticket prices, which have sparked a lot of reactions from Nigerian fans.

The annual Afro Nation music festival announced it would be coming to Nigeria on June 9, 2023. Nigerians met this announcement with great excitement and aplomb. These music lovers also wanted to enjoy the same experience as their peers in Mexico, Ghana, Portugal, and Puerto Rico.

This weekend, the festival organisers announced the prices of the tickets as sales went live today. The event is slated for December 19 and 20, 2023, and the prices of the tickets are relatively high.

The first release of the VIP Weekend tickets is going for N228,000 per person. The second release, on the other hand, will cost N266,350 per person.

The payment plan ticket tier is a bit more pricey as it starts at  266,350 per person for its first release. The soon-release will cost 303,639.

Access to the festival VIP area

Priority festival entry
