Burna Boy's verse in the remix shared similarities with a line from Nasboi's latest song, Small Money. In response to the post on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, a user identified as @Roye_shoeplug2 criticized Nasboi, suggesting that such incidents were the reason for his lack of popularity.

Unfazed by the comment, Nasboi fired back, asserting his capability to provide for the critic.
