Naira Marley Gives Update On Zinoleesky & Mohbad NDLEA Situation

The Marlian music boss has confirmed that Mohbad has been released from NDLEA custody.

Nigerian singer and music executive, Naira Marley, has given an update on the arrest of his label signees, Zinoleesky and Mohbad, by the men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Marlian music acts Zinoleesky and Mohbad were both arrested alongside others at very late hours on February 24, 2022.

According to the Daily Times, who spoke to a spokesperson of the NDLEA, the singers were arrested because they were found in possession of drugs (molly and cannabis).

Naira Marley, who was not in the country at the time of the incident, has given updates. According to the singer, Mohbad has been released while Zinoleesky and other members of his Marlian music are still in custody.

Taking to his twitter page, Naira Marley, who also has an EFCC case, stated that his (Marlian music) brothers are being treated unjustly. He wrote:

NDLEA have released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The boys are under a lot of stress after being ambushed in the middle of the night with no warrant. I’m urgently returning to lagos now now now

What is happening to my brothers is disgusting. The injustice is unfair and this is beginning to look like a pattern. First me now my artists. Free Zinoleesky, free shubomi, free micee and dosky ?
