My collaboration with Tiwa Savage will happen in due time- Yemi Alade

African superstar Yemi Alade has clarified that a collaboration with Tiwa Savage will happen in due time.

Yemi Eberechi Alade popularly known as Mama Africa sat for an interview with Online Air personality Tacha on the Big Friday Show. Yemi Alade stands as one of the legends in the vibrant African music scene. Music lovers have been wondering and waiting for a collaboration between Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade; two of Africa's power houses. For years many have speculated that there may be some type of controversy between the two artists.

When asked about a collaboration during her interview she said, "I feel like a collaboration like that is a very special one and will happen in due time. A lot of people have been asking and it eventually happens at the right time".

The award winning artist also teased her fans that she will be dropping an album in 2024. There is no official release date. Yemi Alade was chosen to create the official song for the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations scheduled for January 13 to February 11, 2024.

The song titled 'Akwaba' was put together by Ivorian group Magic System, global hit Premier Gaou; Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan, and Yemi Alade. Recently at the inaugural Trace Music Award, she won Best Music Video for her song ‘Baddie’.

Due to a vocal infection that has necessitated strict vocal rest for the foreseeable future, global superstar Tiwa Savage has rescheduled her performance and all her tour dates originally slated for November.
