Ghanaian heavyweight rapper, songwriter and performer, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known as Medikal, has reportedly been arrested for brandishing a pistol on social media.

According to reports, the hip-hop star was with his wife, Fella Makafui, at the Accra Regional Police Command charge office after he was brought into custody by the police.

On September 26, 2021, the rapper got some attention on social media after a video surfaced online where he was seen flaunting a pistol believed to be newly acquired.

According to reports, he has been invited to the offices of the Accra Regional Police Command for that act.

This comes hours after Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, alongside members of his team, were arrested over a fake gun attack saga.
