Nigerian singer Mr May D has finally addressed his highly publicized feud with the now-defunct P-Square group and Square Records.

In an unreleased episode of the Honest Bunch podcast, May D revealed that his problems with P-Square began when he was excluded from the music video shoot for the remix of Chop My Money, featuring American-Senegalese artist Akon.

According to May D, Akon had offered him various opportunities and promised to fly him back to America, but things took a turn when he informed Psquare about his conversations with Akon. May D claimed that P-Square initially hesitated to sign him to their label, but after he shared Akon's proposals, he started experiencing problems.

May D expressed regret over sharing the information with P-Square, stating that he would not have done so if he had known better and avoided the feud. The singer's revelation sheds new light on the circumstances surrounding his departure from Square Records in 2012.
