Mavins, Jonzing World make it to Billboard End of the Year Charts
As 2023 comes to an end, media outlet Billboard unveiled the world album imprints and world album label of 2023 based on data from the Billboard Charts.
Nigeria's Mavin Record and Jonzing World made the list of world-leading record labels and imprints. Mavins Record has been able to take its signees (Rema, Ayra Starr, Johnny Drille, Crayon, and Bayanni) to the international stages. The CEO of Mavins Record, Don Jazzy, has been able to form two formidable music groups. Former members were Dija, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, and Reekado Banks.

In October, Billboard reported that Mavin Records was seeking investment or eyeing a potential full sale, with bidding coming from Universal Music Group, and HYBE and strong interest from music asset investors in the financial sector.
