Lyta cries out over low streams

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Babatunde Rahim, popularly known as Lyta, has expressed frustration over the poor streaming performance of his music, warning fans that he may stop releasing new songs altogether.
During a candid Instagram Live session, the artist lamented his current financial struggles, revealing that he is broke and not earning enough from his craft.
“I can do more good music. But if you don’t stream my music, I won’t drop another one. I’m in need of money,” Lyta said, visibly distressed.
He further added, “Look at how I’m looking—slim. I want to gain weight. Let me enjoy your money a little. If you stream my music, I will add weight.”
The emotional appeal has sparked conversations online, with many fans expressing concern and others encouraging support for the singer’s work.
