Korede Bello reveals reason for leaving Mavins Records

Nigerian singer Korede Bello has revealed the reasons behind his departure from Mavins Records, the label he was signed to from 2014 to 2021.

In an interview with Hip TV, the Godwin singer shared that he felt the need to reevaluate his personal growth and artistic purpose, leading him to leave the label.

Meanwhile, Bello explained that he had reached a point where he felt like a product solely focused on making money, rather than an artist with a deeper purpose. He stated, "I was at a stage where I started to feel like a product that is just there to make money… You lose sight of what matters when you chase after the next hit."

Also, the singer emphasized the importance of introspection and self-discovery. He said, "I needed to metamorphose, to explore my inner worth, to do introspection, understand myself, understand meaning more, and reconnect to my why."

Additionally, Korede Bello's decision to leave Mavins Records marked a chapter in his career. Lastly, he seeks to reconnect with his artistic purpose and pursue a more meaningful path.
