Joeboy has announced a ₦10 million scholarship fund aimed at supporting 30 students across public universities.

Nigerian singer Joeboy has unveiled a major education support initiative through his charity arm, the Young Legend Foundation. The foundation announced a ₦10 million scholarship fund aimed at easing the financial burden faced by students in public tertiary institutions across the country.

The scholarship, which marks the foundation’s debut project, will support 30 students drawn from public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. According to the foundation, applications are now open, and interested students can apply through the official link shared in the foundation’s social media bio.

Each beneficiary is expected to receive an average of more than ₦333,000, an amount that could significantly help cover tuition, accommodation, and other academic needs. The initiative reflects Joeboy’s long-standing interest in youth development and his desire to give back in a way that directly impacts young Nigerians.

“Success is not just about personal achievements; it’s about uplifting others,” Joeboy said while announcing the scholarship for students. “Through the Young Legend Foundation, we want to support talented young Nigerians and help them move closer to their dreams.”

With this new project, Joeboy joins a growing number of Nigerian artists using their platforms and resources to invest in education and create real opportunities for the country’s youth.
