Iyanya Explains Why He Violently Pushed A Fan Who Was Spraying Him Off The Stage

Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuka, popularly known as Iyanya, is currently the talk of the town after a video of him pushing a fan went viral.
The singer, while performing at a gig in Awka, Anambra State, violently pushed a fan who was spraying him money off the stage, which led to sizable reactions on social media.
In the said video, Iyanya is seen trying to shield the fan from going beyond boundaries, but the overzealous fans persisted before he received a push from the singer.

Taking to Twitter to explain the scenario, Iyanya made it known that the fan kept slapping his face with the money, which he felt was disrespectful. He wrote:
The guy kept slapping my face with the money and I tried to hold his hand and he continued. First no matter how much you are spraying, don’t slap someone with it, that’s disrespectful.
