As we cross over to a new year, several people are taking steps to ensure that any issues of the year are dealt with and left behind, one of such is up and coming artiste, Wani the 'All My Ladies' crooner, who has apologised to Iyanya for a comment he made earlier this year.
Admitting the need to seek forgiveness before the year runs out, Wani on the 31st of December via the famous bird app tweeted; “I don’t want to end the year without saying this @Iyanya I apologize for my comment earlier this year I was 100 percent in the wrong for that. It’s not EASY trust me I'm trying to figure this shit out myself. God bless more blessings 2021 og *black heart emoji and supplication emoji*

This apology from Wani to Iyanya is as a result of his response to being called the new school Iyanya by a well meaning Twitter user. Wani had then responded to the tweet by saying “God forbid” and this angered several music lovers on the social media platform who were quick to recount Iyanya’s many hits and accolades.
