Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o, in an Instagram post on the 23rd of December 2022, revealed her boyfriend, Selema Masekela and here is what we know about him.

Following the revelation made by Lupita Nyong'o on her Instagram platform on the 23rd of December 2022, here is what we know about the man, Selema Masekela, who stole the black panther star's heart.

Selema Masekela is the son of a Haitian mother and South African jazz musician Hugh Masekela. He is a big lover of the Jazz sound and has his own band by the name of  Alekesam. His songs have been featured in major movies such as; Entourage and House of Lies.

His father, Hugh Masekela, is referred to as the father of South African jazz; he is also known as an activist who advocated for freedom through music. he is known for writing well-known anti-apartheid songs such as "Soweto Blues" and "Bring Him Back Home."
