Gunna to headline Detty December Fest in Lagos
American rap star Gunna is set to light up Lagos this festive season as he headlines the 2025 Detty December Fest, bringing his global WUNNA World Tour to Nigeria’s entertainment capital.
The chart-topping artist, famous for hits like Fukumean and Drip Too Hard, will perform at the Ilubirin waterfront venue in Ikoyi on Monday, December 29, 2025.
His return to Lagos comes two years after his successful 2023 performance, and anticipation is already running high. With thousands of fans and holiday visitors expected, the show is gearing up to be one of the standout events of this year’s celebrations.
Detty December Fest, organized by Livespot, runs from December 6 to 31 and features a blend of music concerts, nightlife events, fashion, and art across its Ilubirin and Livespot Entertarium venues. This year’s edition has been officially endorsed by the Nigerian government, further cementing its importance to the country’s booming creative and tourism sectors.
Gunna will perform alongside an exciting mix of international and African stars, including U.S. rap legend Busta Rhymes, Tanzanian R&B singer Juma Jux, and Nigerian street-pop favorite Bella Shmurda. Their collective presence has intensified public excitement as Lagos prepares for a vibrant and culturally rich festive season.
