FOLA in an official statement has reacted to the controversies that surrounded his recently concluded 2025 concert in Lagos.

Singer FOLA has issued a public apology following the disruption of his concert after several attendees reportedly fainted due to overcrowding and space constraints.

The incident, which caused panic among fans, led to the show being stopped midway to allow emergency response and restore order.

In a statement released after the event, Fola expressed deep regret over how the night unfolded, stressing that no concert is worth risking lives.

My people, I’m really sorry about how last night went. People were hurt and that should never happen,” he said. “I had to stop the show because safety comes before anything else.”

The artist acknowledged fans’ concerns and confirmed that his team is actively working to address the situation. “I hear you on all fronts, and we’re working to make things right,” the statement added, suggesting possible follow-up actions for affected attendees.

Concert safety has since become a major talking point on social media, with fans calling for better crowd control and venue planning at large events.

While some expressed disappointment that the show ended abruptly, many commended Fola for prioritising safety and taking responsibility for the incident.
