Fetty Wap Bags 6-Year Imprisonment For Trafficking Cocaine

The rapper was arrested in 2021 and charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess cocaine.

American rapper Willie Maxwell II, popularly known as Fetty Wap, has bagged himself six years in prison for being involved in selling cocaine.

Fetty Wap was initially arrested in October 2022 in New York, where he was billed to perform at the Rolling Loud Festival. He was denied performance after Federal agents pounced on him and charged him with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances.

The 'Trap Queen' rapper was released on bond but was later arrested after he was said to have displayed a gun and threatened to kill someone during a call in 2022.

In an update of events, Wap, who was charged with five other men in the drug trafficking syndicate, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine, which has earned him a six-year sentence in federal prison.

According to reports, the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York claimed that Fetty Wap and his clan allegedly "distributed more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey."
