Femi and Made Kuti To Headline Joint Concert in Lagos | SEE DETAILS
Afrobeats legend, Femi Kuti and his son, Made Kuti are set to stage a join concert at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lagos later this month.
Femi Kuti and Made Kuti will join forces to thrill their audience in a concert tagged Father & Son billed to hold at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lagos. This was shared via Instagram on Saturday, the 11th of December 2021.
The Kuti Family has a musical legacy spanning even before Femi Kuti’s own father, the pioneer of afrobeat himself Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was born. Until his demise, Fela was a Nigerian musician and political activist who was known for his bravery in the face of intimidation from the then military government.
Femi Kuti followed in his father’s footsteps and so did his son after him. The duo have also been nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards in the Global Album of the Year category for their joint album, Legacy+.

Femi and Made Kuti’s concert in Lagos is tagged Father & Son and is billed to hold on the 23rd of December at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lagos. Tickets have also been put on sale for the event.
