Fans did not hold back in airing their grievances against the award-winning Nigerian superstar.

Nigerian iconic singer, songwriter, and performer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, received a high level of backlash from his fans over his 2023 Lagos headline concert.

The Spaceship Entertainment frontline act and owner, after touring the world heavily in 2022, decided to kick off 2023 with a homecoming performance in Lagos. However, it did not match the standard of a traditional Burna Boy show in other parts of the world.

The event, which was slated to start by 6 p.m. Nigerian time on January 1, 2022, did not see the African Giant climb the stage until 3:30 a.m. Nigerian time on January 2, 2022, making the fans wait for over seven hours before seeing the hitmaker.
