Notable gospel singer Ebuka Songs has finally addressed his departure from Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation, after leaving before the completion of his three-year contract.

Moses Bliss had previously spoken about Ebuka’s exit in an interview. He revealed that the singer left the label after just 11 months. While reacting to this, Ebuka admitted that he was not entirely pleased with everything said in the interview. He noted that some details were unnecessary. However, he clarified that he and Moses Bliss had since reached an understanding and moved on.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Open Up podcast, Ebuka shared his reasons for leaving. He stated that his decision was fueled by a desire to focus on his ministry.

“I will always be grateful for Moses Bliss’ role in my life because, at that time, I had the anointing and gift, but I didn’t know how to go about it professionally. I am grateful for the journey that I have been through, but at this point, the next level is to focus on my ministry. And we are in a good space,” he explained.

Addressing why he had remained silent on the matter, Ebuka Songs stated that he wanted to avoid unnecessary speculation and focus on his spiritual journey.

“The reason why I kept quiet about my exit or didn’t say anything since that time is because I didn’t want it to generate more conversations. We all get to the point where we just want to focus on the next phase of our lives, and for me, that is the assignment of God upon my life,” he added.

Despite leaving Spotlite Nation, Ebuka Songs reassured fans that there is no bad blood between him, Moses Bliss and his former team. He emphasized that he is in a good place as he moves forward in his ministry.
