Drake shows support for Tems at Toronto concert
Canadian rapper Drake was spotted in the audience at Nigerian singer Tems' Born In The Wild tour concert in Toronto on Saturday night, September 7, 2024.
Basically, the global superstar was seen nodding along to the performance from his VIP seat, showing his support for Tems.
Despite battling a cold, Tems delivered an electrifying show, featuring a medley of songs from her debut album and earlier projects. Also, the crowd was energized as she performed, determined to "dance this cold away."
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Drake and Tems have crossed paths. The two have collaborated on two occasions - on Drake's track Fountain and as guest artistes on Future's Wait 4 U. This was debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Additionally, Drake's appearance at Tems' Toronto concert shows the growing connection between Nigerian and international artists. Lastly, it shows his support for Tems' rising career.
