Mavin boss Don Jazzy in numerous tweets addressed online trolls that attack artists.

Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy in a series of tweets hit back at trolls that attack other artists on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

This came after trolls compared two influential artists together (Fireboy DML and Rema) and downplayed the achievement and contribution of these two artists.

Don Jazzy took to his Twitter platform to call out such an act indicating that his label, Mavin Records does not support or encourage such an act. He went further to add that Rema and his other artists are focused on making music for fans to enjoy.

Don Jazzy tweeted:

If ur only way to support Mavin is by hating on or downplaying a colleagues hustle & success, then pls keep ur support to yourself. I know some of u derive pleasure from that shit, but that’s not the Mavin way. We go manage our little fan base that’s genuinely happy for others.

He also addressed the question of him not speaking up about the comparison of Rema to senior artists and he stated;

I did interviews addressing it sir. And my team internally knows not to participate in such unprogressive manner. Hoping that one day the fans will learn from our body language and stop. But it seems to be getting worst by the day.

Don Jazzy was firm that an artist's work should not be ridiculed but rather enjoyed.
