Don Jazzy, Liquorose, others win big at Pulse Influencer Awards 2023

Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy has won the Music Influencer of the Year award at the Pulse Influencer Awards.

The third edition of the Pulse Influencer Awards took place on October 7, 2023, in Lagos, where Don Jazzy was presented with the prestigious Music Influencer of the Year award. This annual event is a significant recognition ceremony that celebrates standout figures in the African influencer scene. These influencers are acknowledged for their efforts in creating vibrant and engaged communities within their respective niches. The 2023 edition of this event was skillfully hosted by Folajimi Akinsola and Victoria Eze, and its theme was The Golden Era: Bold and Elegant.

This year's awards encompassed a wide range of categories, spanning from Music to Technology. The event received sponsorship from MTN, Captain Jack, and Indomie. The music industry mogul has been instrumental in propelling Nigerian music onto the global stage by nurturing talents who have gone on to achieve significant recognition, including multiple Grammy Awards, VMAs, and various other accolades. As the CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy has played a pivotal role in shaping generational music stars, contributing to the elevation of Nigerian music to new heights. In 2022, the Music Influencer award was held by Lord Sky.
