Davido named one of the Most Influential People in Africa for 2023
Multiple award-winning singer and performer Davido has been named one of the most influential people in Africa for the year 2023.
The list shared by the media outfit Africa Report, Davido alongside some of the movers and shakers in Africa such as Aliko Dangote, Wole Soyinka and many more were ranked based on their contribution to Africa as well as their importance and recognition on a global scale.
This ranking puts Davido as the highest-ranked Nigerian artist on the list, this however, did not come as a surprise to many as the singer has had arguably one of the biggest years in 2023 with the release of his fourth studio album, Timeless which has continued to set new records and break boundaries to the birth of his twin children and then his Grammy nomination.
The bar has been set high by the Niegrian artists who made Africa his playground in 2023 and performed in different parts of the country with Nigeria in inclusion.
