Davido Speaks on His Relationship With Ronaldo

The DWM owner and frontline act consider the football superstar a very good friend.

Nigerian ace singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken about his relationship with Portuguese icon footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

During a recent episode of the ABTalks podcast, the singer spoke to the host Anas Bukhash about how great people get criticized by the public, citing Ronaldo's case in the last World Cup.

The Afrobeats superstar, who is the only African artist followed on Instagram by Ronaldo, regarded the 5-time world footballer of the year as his good friend and criticized those who insulted the Portuguese national team's captain after they crashed out of the World Cup, stating that the forward has helped his team as much as he could. He said:

Look at Cristiano Ronaldo when he left the World Cup. He is my friend, by the way. He is my very good friend. When he left the World Cup, I remember being on the internet, and the trolls were abusing him so much, even after everything that he has done.
