Davido Sets 2 Unmatched Records On The UK And US Charts With 'Timeless'
Singer Davido has set two different records on the charts in the UK and the US with his fourth studio album 'Timeless.'
Following the release of 'Timeless' by Davido in the early hours of Friday, March 31, 2023, the multiple award-winning artist has proceeded to set different records within Africa and in the US and UK. Davido has now set two unmatched new records on the charts in the US and UK with his fourth studio project.
In the UK, David's 'Timeless' became the first and only Afrobeats album to debut all tracks in the Top 100 Apple Music UK Top Songs chart, with 'Unavailable' being the highest-ranked song on the chart at number 18. 'Timeless' also became the second Afrobeats album to peak at number one on the Apple Music Top Albums chart for the UK as well.
In the US, the singer also became the first and only African artist to debut 10 songs in the top 200 for Apple Music Top Songs US chart, with 'Over Dem' being the highest-ranked song at number 53. 'Timeless' also became the first album by a Nigerian artist to reach a high peak on Apple Music US Top Album chart.
