Davido Reveals Producer Who Wrote and Produced Aye
David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is known for many things other than being a music star and one of such is his openness about having songwriters make records for him, several of which have been hits. In a recent video, Davido has furthered the narrative of crediting songwriters by revealing that producer Tspize is the brain behind the lyrics and instrumentalisation of mega hit ‘Aye.’
In the video, Davido was captured introducing Tspize while explicitly stately; “the biggest hit... wey I still dey use chop till today, he’s the one that produced 'Aye', he wrote it, produced it.”

Other similar revelations which Davido has made include him effusively crediting Tekno for writing and producing his 2017 hit ‘If.’
'Aye' was released on the 1st of February in honour of Valentine’s day and went ahead to win Davido the award of song of the year at the Headies as well as hottest single of the year at the Nigerian entertainment awards.
