Davido has reacted to his viral song 'Unavailable' off his Timeless album, setting a new record for Afrobeats songs released in 2023.

David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, recently took to his social media platform to express his excitement over the success of his hit song, Unavailable. The track has become the first Afrobeats song released in 2023 to surpass 50 million streams on the popular digital streaming platform, Spotify.

The news has been received with great enthusiasm by fans and music lovers worldwide, who have been grooving to the catchy beats and captivating lyrics of the song. Davido's talent and creativity as a singer and performer continue to garner him multiple awards and accolades, cementing his position as one of the most prominent voices in the Afrobeats genre.

The hit song which is one of the tracks off his fourth studio album released in March 2023, is slowly finding its way into the hearts of fans and also celebrities as people have joined the viral challenge on Tik Tok for the song. One of such celebrities Mr. Eazi was spotted doing the challenge with his partner Temi Otedola.

 The singer recently made an announcement of his donation of over 230 million naira to the less privileged on his social media platform on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in a post on his Twitter platform where he revealed that the reason for this donation which first happened on his birthday a few years ago, was because he had always looked for a way to use his platform to provide help and support for other people who need it.

His recent announcement was met with fans' excitement as his social media post read, "I’ve always wanted to use my platform to serve others. Thankful that through your generosity, I’ve been able to do so. We recently disbursed over N200m to several orphanages in Nigeria, a tradition that started a few years ago around my birthday. Thank you to everyone who donated. With your help, we are changing lives. This is what I mean when I say We rise by lifting others. These are words in action. God bless you all!"
