Davido praised for N300 million donation

The Coalition of Orphanages and Children's Homes in Nigeria (COCHIN) has expressed gratitude to Global sensation, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, for his generous N300 million donation to orphanages across the nation.
In February 2024, Davido garnered attention with his substantial contribution, which COCHIN confirmed benefited 42 of its 52 member orphanages. The coalition highlighted that no Nigerian, including the government, had shown such support before.
Davido shared the letter of appreciation from COCHIN on his X page today, Thursday, May 30, 2024. This is not the first time the artist has shown his support for orphanages in Nigeria; in November 2021, he donated N250 million to 292 orphanages to mark his 29th birthday.
