Davido Gives Reason For Strongly Backing Senato Adeleke

Davido knows how to create a statement and has done so again as he states his reason for backing his uncle, Senator Adeleke in the Osun gubernatorial elections.

Nigerian megastar and Afrobeats ambassador, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has stated his reason for strongly backing his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke in his race for the position of governor of Osun State.

The singer who has been expressing his joy following reports of a victory for his uncle under the PDP, spoke on his motivation for openly supporting and campaigning for his uncle in an interview with BBC. According to Davido, who's the popular pioneer of the 'We rise by lifting others mantra,' his major reason was simply because family is everything. The singer also gave additional reasons by saying "I feel like we're the best people for the job and if you give us one or two years, you'll see."

Davido's uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke had been gunning for the position of governor of Osun State since 2018 and the singer had openly shown his support over the years.
