Davido confirms 6th studio album while celebrating 33rd birthday

Afrobeats superstar Davido has confirmed that he is already working on his 6th studio album, set for release next year, while marking his 33rd birthday in a spectacular celebration.
The announcement came amid a star-studded party held at Atlanta's sold-out 21,000-seat State Farm Arena, attended by family, friends, and fellow artists.
The singer, dressed in a striking green and gold outfit, was seen receiving a multi-tiered birthday cake adorned with sparklers and a commemorative champagne bottle, as the crowd cheered and recorded the lively moment. Among those present were his wife Chioma Adeleke, his uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke, his father Adedeji Adeleke, elder sister Sharon, cousins, and close friends.
Reflecting on his journey, Davido said, “I dropped my first song when I was 17, and now I’m 33. This year is one of my best years ever, I got married to the most beautiful woman, and we had our babies.” Davido also used the medium to announce that he was working on his 6th studio album. Known for blending personal milestones with philanthropy, the singer often uses his birthdays to support orphanages and charitable causes across Nigeria, though this year’s focus combined personal joy with a preview of his future musical projects.
The celebration highlighted not only Davido’s global stature and flair for extravagant events but also his ongoing dedication to music, family, and connecting with fans, giving the public a first glimpse of the highly anticipated sixth album.
