Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid lead nominations for 2024 Africa Arts Entertainments Awards

The nominees for the 2024 Africa Arts Entertainments Awards (AAEA) have been announced, and Nigerian music superstars Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid are leading the pack.

Davido received an impressive 12 nominations, followed closely by Burna Boy with 10, and Wizkid with 7. The three artists are vying for top honors in several categories, including AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year.

Meanwhile, other notable nominees include Olamide, Fireboy DML, Rema, Tems, Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Simi Kosoko, Majeed, Lojay, Ayra Starr, Gyakie, Oxlade, Ruger and Kizz Daniel.

Also, the AAEA celebrates the achievements of African music artists. It recognizes their talents and success in various categories. This includes Best Continental Male Artiste, Continental Artiste of the Year, Continental Album/EP of the Year, and more.

Additionally, the awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 17, 2024, in Kenya. Fans are eagerly anticipating the outcome. Will these three take home the top prizes? Only time will tell.
