Davido, Asake and Fireboy attend BMC Grammy party

Davido, Asake, Blaqbonez, Fireboy, Sarz, and other Nigerian artists were in attendance at the 66th Grammy Award Black Music Collectives Party.

The Black Music Collective serves as an advisory group comprising leaders in the music industry. Its purpose is to openly discuss new and emerging opportunities in Black music. BMC identifies strategies to enhance Black representation. Acting as a central hub for influential figures in Black music across various genres, the Collective operates under the GRAMMY umbrella, fostering collaboration between creators and business leaders to establish common goals, align on shared agendas, and build a sense of community.

At the event, American artist H.E.R presented the Global Impact Award to the acclaimed Lenny Kravitz, a recipient of multiple awards. Tori Kelly delivered a performance of Mariah Carey's Vision of Love. The night featured live performances by Quavo, Davido, Yolanda Adams, and Andra Day. The Global Impact Award is a prestigious CEO Merit Award. It acknowledges the significant influence of Black music creators on the industry.
