Davido takes on a new challenge in 2024 with Timeless concert at the Madison Square Garden
Davido has announced that he will be performing at the iconic Madison Square Garden in the US in April 2024.
The 19000 capacity arena which has seen top artists such as Wizkid and Burna Boy perform there in 2022 has been unveiled as the next stop for the Grammy-nominated singer.
Davido's Timeless tour has been a huge success in the US and Europe and after selling out the State Farm Arena for his A.W,.A.Y Festival, it is only right the singer cements himself as one of the biggest afrobeats stars once again. The announcement was made through the American media outlet Billboard and fans have continued to express excitement about the singer taking on a new challenge with the concert.
Davido in his interview with Billboard revealed why the stage is important for him as an artist. He said, “Seven years ago, I walked past Madison Square Garden and looked at it and said, ‘We gonna come back and shut this down, So to be here now, able to play Madison Square Garden, in New York, one of the first cities and fans to embrace my music, at this iconic venue … it’s a dream come true.”
The singer also confirmed that he would also perform at Montreal’s Place Bell on April 19, 2024, and end with a show at Orlando’s Additional Financial Arena on April 24, 2024.
