A public spat has erupted between Nigerian musicians, Cynthia Morgan and Rudeboy, with Morgan accusing Rudeboy, formerly of the duo P-Square, of failing to fulfill payment obligations for a feature she did for his then-girlfriend.

The feud unfolded after Rudeboy, also known as Paul Okoye, distanced himself from Morgan during an Instagram live session, clarifying that she was never signed to him but rather to his elder brother, Jude Okoye. Despite their past association, Rudeboy wished Morgan a speedy recovery, prompting her to question his sincerity and highlight their outstanding financial dispute.

“Cynthia Morgan, she is not my artiste. She was never my artiste. She was my elder brother’s artiste. They have gone their different ways. Na she sabi. I wish her to get well soon,” he said.

In a fiery response, Cynthia Morgan chastised Rudeboy for attempting to distance himself from her and questioned whether she was unwell, given his well wishes. She further called attention to the unpaid feature she provided for Rudeboy and his then-girlfriend, who was also signed to him, in 2016. Morgan's reminder of the outstanding debt brought to light unresolved financial matters within the music industry.

“You think you can talk @iamkingrudy you wish me get well soon, me and you who they sick? Remember you still owe me for the feature I did for you and your girlfriend who was also your artiste in 2016? And I believe you were still married at the time? Mind yourself Paul, mind yourself.” she stated.

Morgan's message to Rudeboy showcased her frustration with the situation, emphasizing the importance of honoring agreements and settling debts within the music community. The public exchange reignited tensions between the two artists and raised questions about the nature of their past collaboration and the responsibilities associated with it.

As the feud between Cynthia Morgan and Rudeboy unfolds, it serves as a reminder of the complexities and challenges artists face in navigating professional relationships and financial transactions within the music industry.
