Chelsea to spend over 100 million pounds on this striker in January 2024

Following a woeful defeat in the hands of Newcastle on Saturday, November 25, 2023, Chelsea are reportedly set to spend over 100 million pounds to bring a striker to the club in January 2024.

According to reports from media outlets, Chelsea is reportedly set to launch a bid to sign Victor Osimhen in January 2024 for over 100 million pounds. The Blues have shown interest in signing the Nigerian striker in the summer 2023 transfer window, but the deal had not materialized, with Osimhen opting to remain at Napoli.

Victor Osimhen might consider a move from Napoli following the current situation at the club. The recent incident involving social media posts uploaded by the club and the disagreement with the former coach of the side might be clear indicators that his days at the Serie A side are numbered.

According to The Telegraph UK Chelsea have an in to establish a connection with Victor Osimhen through the former defender Kalidou Koulibaly and would be looking to push for a move that would make the Nigerian international the most expensive player in the Premier League.

Reports further indicates that if the striker should consider a move from Napoli his first option would be Chelsea.
