Burna Boy’s “Love Damini” records a whooping 1 billions Spotify streams

Burna Boy’s album, Love Damini, has reached 1 billion streams on Spotify alone. It is the first African album to achieve this feat.
The album which was released in July, 2022 has been a huge success with hit songs like Kilometre, Last Last and Cloak and Dagger featuring JHus.

The record of highest streams was previously held by Burna Boy's African Giant album, which had over 200 million streams on the Spotify platform.
The Love, Damini album features a total of 19 tracks, including collaborations with Ladysmith Black Mambazo, J Hus, and Victony.
