In response to a curious fan's inquiry during an Instagram live session on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the global sensation elaborated on his decision, highlighting the importance of being able to provide undivided attention and care for his future children. Burna Boy emphasized that he wants to emulate the profound love and support he receives from his parents, stating, "I know I can't give that to anyone right now with the life I'm living."

Further elaborating on his stance, the 32-year-old artist expressed his desire to wait until he is settled and capable of being present for his children on a daily basis. He emphasized his belief that his children deserve the best possible upbringing, stating, "I feel like my kids deserve better than I got."

Addressing rumors surrounding his fertility, Burna Boy dismissed speculations about his ability to father a child, clarifying that such discussions are inconsequential. He debunked any doubts by referencing the existence of medical procedures like IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), stating, "When I see the bants and the things people say [about me not being able to have kids], I said this is unimportant."
