Burna Boy reveals the reason he comes to Nigeria nowadays

Grammy-award-winning singer and performer Burna Boy, in a recent event, revealed the only reason he comes to Nigeria nowadays.

The City Boys singer took to his social media platform today, Sunday, December 17, 2023, to shed light as to why he decided to spend more time in Nigeria in what many categorise as a reminiscent post.

Burna Boy shared that his grandmother had been his motivation for spending time in Nigeria, as she often asked him when he was coming home in December to spend time with her adding that she had been the inspiration behind his hit song Thanks.

He however went on to add that nowadays she has been asking when he will be leaving the country, a question that might have stemmed from the recent sequence of events. Burna Boy went on to add that he would spend the final days of the year with her 'for peace to reign' in his words.

His post on social media read, "My Grandma used to be the one crying for me to come back home, now she’s on edge every time I come back home and is already asking when I’m leaving. This is why I made “Thanks”. I’m rolling with only her this December for peace to reign."
