Burna Boy Crowned Best African Act At MTV Europe Music Awards 2022

Burna Boy has added another international award to his ever-growing shelf as he was crowned the best African act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2022.

The African Giant Burna Boy has been crowned the MTV Europe Music Awards African act of the year 2022, further adding a new feather to his vast expanding cap.

The award ceremony which is scheduled to take place today, Sunday, November 13, 2022,  at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Best African Act category was announced at the pre-award ceremony, and Burna, who was nominated alongside huge acts Ayra Starr, Black Sherif, Musa Keys and Zuchu, picked up the award following an eventful 2022.

This is, however, not the first time Burna would be winning this category, as he also received the award in 2019 after an eventful year.
