Burna Boy and Tems are the only Nigerian artists on the latest list unveiled by Spotify ahead of the new season.
Talented singers and performers Burna Boy and Tems were the only Nigerian artists that made the Spotify shortlist for the Songs Of The Summer Prediction 2022.
Burna Boy with his hit song 'Last Last' made the shortlist and Tems with her hit collaboration project with Future and Drake titled 'Wait For U.'
Spotify stated the criteria used in selecting this song in an official post which read:
To determine this list of songs, which we predict will be on repeat over the next three months, our curation teams pay attention to a number of factors, including the track’s current trajectory and cultural impact, combined with forecasting based on prior years’ knowledge of what tends to pop throughout the summer. But we also took this moment to see what other summer trends are emerging as people start to enjoy more fun in the sun.
