Burna Boy and Fireboy win big at 2023 BMI Awards in London

Burna Boy and Fireboy DML took home the coveted 'Most Performed Work of the Year' awards for their respective hits. Burna Boy's chart-topper 'Last Last' and Fireboy DML's sensational collaboration with British singer Ed Sheeran in Peru were both acknowledged as standout tracks that captured the hearts of music lovers worldwide.

Adding to the list of accolades for Nigerian talents, the globally acclaimed Nigerian-British record producer Richard Isong, widely known as P2J, was honoured with the prestigious 'Impact Award' for his remarkable contributions to the music industry.
Among the other notable recipients of awards, British music legend Gary Kemp was presented with the esteemed 'Icon Award,' acknowledging his enduring influence and contributions to the world of music.
