Brymo shocks Nigerians with his response to Simi's request for a collaboration

Singer Brymo triggered an online debate when the singer revealed his controversial answer to a collaboration request from Simi.

Social media has been in a frenzy after former Chocolate City singer Brymo revealed what he had told multiple award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Simi when she requested a collaboration in the past before she got married.

The singer stated in a post shared on his social media platform today, Friday, July 21, 2023, that he had requested to get intimate with Simi when she had requested for a collaboration before she got married to singer Adekunle Gold.

The shocking revelation came right after a social media user had asked Adekunle Gold if Brymo would be featured on his upcoming project. Brymo quoted the question with a reply that stunned many and read, "..though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate because I turned down same request many years before…I also did same with Simi… said I wanted to get intimate to create intensity.. I didn’t know they were together of course."

His reply sparked the online debate of how much female artists are being forced to endure to get collaborations, endorsements and many more in the music industry.
