Afronation 2022 hosted a good number of Nigerian talents but there was no Bella Shmurda in the mix. Now he's letting us know how that made him feel. Watch him share his sentiments in our story below.
Self-titled newborn Fela, Bella Shmurda has shared his sentiments on his perceived exclusion from recent iteration of music festival, Afronation.
According to Bella Shmurda who'd shared this on an episode of Flow With popular YouTuber, Korty, he'd not been approached to perform at Afronation and this had hurt him as he had bigger hits than some of the performers at the show. He said "I'm supposed to be there, I'm also a big artiste in Nigeria. Even those that went for Afronation, some of them I have better hits than them, bigger hits.” Speaking on his feelings, he mentioned that he questioned the decision, and when Korty had asked "Those kind of things do they used to pain you?" Bella replied saying; "He dey pain me o."
Set in Portugal, Afronation 2022 had been a showcase of several talents from Africa, especially Nigerian acts such as Burna Boy, BNXN, Rema, Niniola, Omah Lay and others.
