Ayra Starr donates N2 million to fan
Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has gifted a fan N2 million to support her career.
The fan, a music journalist, was on a show hosted by on-air personality, Oladotun Kayode, aka Do2dtun, on Cool FM, where Ayra Starr was a guest.
In a clip that was shared on Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Commas crooner explained that her own career blossomed thanks to someone investing in her, and she wanted to pay it forward. Before announcing the amount, Ayra Starr sought permission from Dotun, who encouraged her to go ahead. The studio buzzed with excitement as she revealed the generous pledge.
Do2dtun advised the fan to invest in a recorder to capture snippets during interviews, sharing that this was how he began his own career.
