Asake sells out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena

It is official! Asake has joined the elite, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy as the only Nigerian artists to sell out the O2 arena.

Multiple award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Asake has joined the list of Nigerian artists who have sold out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena. The confirmation was shared in a video that showed the singer and his team celebrating the sold-out announcement.

Asake, who recently released his second studio album titled Work Of Art, which has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, will be performing at the venue on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

The singer who began his concert campaign in London with the 5000 capacity, O2 Brixton Academy, in December 2022, which encountered a tragic incident that forced the singer to bring the event to an end abruptly.

The singer promised to make his return to London, and he delivered on that with his announcement of the concert at the O2 Arena on Friday, May 5, 2023. Fans were excited about the announcement, and as such, the concert was sold out four months after the announcement.
